Hey guys,
Sorry this didn't come out sooner. Thanksgiving week for me was awesome, don't get me wrong I love it. At the same time though it was one of the most hectic weeks of my life.
Tech started out really good in this game. Outscoring Missouri 17-10 in the first half. Then the Red Raiders added 10 more points in the third while Missouri only added 7 more to their score. Final score as you could see was in Missouri's favor as they scored 14 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. Seth Doege, (Like Tech offense most of the time) still had a good game throwing for 315 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT.
The big story in this game however, was head coach for the Tigers Gary Pinkel was suspended, so it was interesting to see how this game would play out. James Franklin accounted for four TD's and got the go ahead score on a 9-yard run with 2:22 left in the fourth. Sadly though Doege's interception came in at a terrible time for Tech as they had driven all the way down to Missouri's 6 yard line.
I really thought that this was Tech's last real chance to be bowl eligible. Sadly, they didn't come out on top.
Any opinions on Texas Tech's collapse in the last half of the season?
God Bless,
Brent
